BLACK TOT RUM- MASTER BLENDER’S RESERVE 2022
Every so often, a bottle lands on the table that feels less like a drink and more like an event. Black Tot Master Blender’s Reserve 2022 is one of those bottles. Actually this 20ml bottle feels like a time capsule.

Steeped in naval tradition and blended with rums from Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, and Trinidad—plus a living “Perpetual Reserve” that carries whispers of historic British Navy rum—it’s a liquid time capsule. At a formidable 54.5% ABV, it promises not just flavor, but a journey.
From the heat of the tropics to the quiet hum of an old ship’s galley, where chocolate and spice drift on the air. Today on Rum-Dezvous, we uncork history and see if this modern homage to the Navy blend can live up to its legendary roots.

After just a few sips, it’s clear the Master Blender’s Reserve 2022 isn’t content to sit quietly in the glass—it commands attention. Waves of chocolate, ripe fruit, coffee, and warming spice roll in one after another. Each sip deepening the intrigue. The high proof delivers power, but never at the expense of balance, and the finish lingers like a well-told sea story. This is not a rum for the distracted or the hurried. It’s for the evenings when you want to taste history, savor craftsmanship, and let your mind wander across the Caribbean, maybe with cigar in one hand…
