On the fifth day of Christmas our rum love brings us to Thailand. Unfair forgotten part of Asia and Asian rums, which, like other famous rums, have a huge tradition of rum production. Naga Siam Edition is a five time column still distilled rum from Thai sugar cane. Matured in ex-bourbon cask for 12 years under Thai tropical climate conditions.
APPEARANCE
Clear, medium with beautiful amber color.
NOSE
From the glass Naga Siam Edition expresses clear condition with pronounced intensity of vanilla and oak aromas on the first sniff. The second reveals sandalwood and cinnamon
PALATE
Unexpectedly dry and smooth on the palate with pronounced intensity of oak and walnut. Somewhere from a distance coconut flavor comes. Vanilla is presented but not but not as the aromas on the nose suggest at the beginning.
Long finish with some complexity where, at the end, discreet notes of coconut, cinnamon and black pepper come to the fore.
CONCLUSION
Due to the amount of 20 ml of rum in the sample bottle, it was not possible to measure the amount of additional sugar or additives, but due to the balance of this rum, we can conclude that it is very good.
