NOSE
Condition is clean with medium to pronounced intensity. What comes first is the aroma of dried fruit, especially prunes with the hint of chocolate. Burnt sugar and oak notes are the second what comes and the finish is hints of vanilla mixed with orange marmalade and baking spices.
PALATE
Dry, smooth with medium intensity. Orange and caramel flavor are on the first place in combination with dried fruits, especially prunes, while the raw oak and cinnamon are something that comes a few seconds later. Flavor of almond mixed with apples is something that surprises the palate with quite long and very complex finish.
CONCLUSION
Quite aromatic, balanced and very complex thanks to the the sherry butts this rum deserves to be outstanding.
