The Vegas de Santiago D8 is a boutique cigar from Costa Rica, crafted by the Swiss-born Niehaus family. Introduced in 2012, this cigar features a blend of Caribbean tobaccos: Ligero from the Dominican Republic, Viso and Seco from Peru and Costa Rica, bound with an Ecuadorian Criollo leaf, and wrapped in an Ecuadorian H-2000 wrapper. All tobaccos are aged for at least three years before production. The D8 offers a medium-bodied smoking experience with flavors of nuts, cedarwood, coffee, leather, and subtle sweetness, complemented by a creamy texture and hints of black pepper. Available in various formats, including Robusto, Wide Churchill, and Short Salomon, the D8 series caters to diverse preferences.
